Also can I use a wallet address for the snarker worker address or do I need to use my node address?

In Mina, the validator has the ability to separate the address of the validator and the address where rewards for the produced block are accrued. In case your server is compromised and the validator key is leaked, your rewards will remain safe.

To do this, you need:

  • Specify at the start of the node a flag with the address where the reward will be automatically credited
    -coinbase-receiver B62ThnS7D...
  • You can use any other address that is not the address of the validator, including the address for mining snarks
