Seeking Guidance: Running Ouroboros Samasika in Mina on Ubuntu

Hi all,

I wish to run Mina on my local Ubuntu environment. I have the GitHub link (GitHub - MinaProtocol/mina: Mina is a new cryptocurrency with a constant size blockchain, improving scaling while maintaining decentralization and security.), and I have already executed Mina commands. However, I need guidance on how to run Ouroboros Samasika within this code. Could someone please provide a valid explanation or a reference link?

Do you want to run a block producer? If so, the docs are pretty good on this Getting Started | Mina Documentation

Hey @firebeefaizul! Ouroboros Samasika is just the succinct PoS consensus mechanism used in a block producing node. So if you’re running a block producer, you’re running Samasika!
